The THING is:

I had the HUGE honour to be commissioned a while ago, to make one of my little fennecs as a present for an important Disney director Byron Howard from his partner, in celebration of his upcoming film Zootopia!!!!


If someone doesn't know him, Byron Howard is best known for directing Bolt and Tangled and for being involved in other films as Lilo & Stitch, Brother Bear and Mulan.

Being a big Disney fan since I can remember, and knowing that a Disney's bigshot is the owner of one of my works and that he loves it, is like a dream come true for me!!!!


I couldn't ever imagine this will happen, when someday, I started making dolls just for fun.
Just a big thanks to all of you that follow my work, because thanks to your support, I've been able to keep working on what I love and my work has become visible all over the world, letting this happen!!!!

To all the people in my waiting list interested in a chibi dragon spirit, or people that wanted to get one in the future I have bad and good news:


The bad news is that today that the weather was sunny and quiet, I was about to cast some parts for chibi dragon spirit dolls. But unfortunatelly it seems that the silicone was too old and the molds have been damaged, so they aren't able to produce quality casts anymore.
Besides this, I don’t feel comfortable enough with this old sculpt to make new molds of it, so I’ve decided to discontinue this design.

The good ones is that I liked the idea of a chibi dragon spirit and I want to keep making these, so I’ll take this as an opportunity to re-sculpt it and make it  to be more up to my current standards!

Anyways, be aware that the new version may look pretty different. I want to keep only the main features that make it look like a dragon spirit, and the features that make it look “chibi”.
It will probably be a lot cuter and more detailed, I want it to be slightly bigger, and it will have the legs in a more standing position because I was tired that the old ones were only laying, and I want the new ones to have an armature and be poseable.

( Here's a crappy quick sketch of the new design, if you want to have an idea, but note that I'm not so good at drawing so the doll may look way better xD, hope you like it anyways)

For the customers in my wait list, you can keep your slot if you’re interested in getting one of the new version ( I’ll try to complete at least one so you can see how it looks before deciding), and if you’re not interested in the new ones I’ll totally understand, just let me know.
