I didn't like the size of the old wolf head so I sculpted a bigger, new one.
I'm pretty happy with the face, but I'm not very convinced with the ears so I'll probably change them.
(I'm planning to add extra fluff around the cheeks with the same faux fur used on the body so please don't pay attention to this detail xD Making the head this way leaves me the option of using this head cast to do some dog breeds just with a little customization )
What do you think?
material: monster clay
eyes are glass taxidermy bird eyes bought online
This head will be casted in resin and turned into a poseable wolf doll
I think the main problem with the ears is their too close together, most times with wolf ears I notice their further apart. Usually the one part of the ear doesn't start until the middle of the eye, where as the one's you did start at the same point as the eye. So try spacing them out some more and see what happens? They might need to be a little bigger too (like more fuller looking) if that makes any sense? I'm kinda a huge wolf fan so I'm looking at all my wolf stuff and comparing it XD
Hope this helps though ^^
